Volunteer Part V Halloween

The need for volunteers at Halloween is Huge ! From preparing the haunted hayride and barn through ticket sales and take down, it's a Lot of work. Fortunately, we have great volunteers to get us through.

Volunteers Part IV Summer

Summer at the Plantation, the Classy-Chassis Car Show, pony training, a Hammer - In, and an art show. Who made it all work ? Volunteers ! (and staff)

Volunteers Part III - The Parking Lot

The North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission awarded Poplar Grove Foundation a grant to develop parking for the Farmers Market. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers the project was completed in time for the 2009 season. The new lot is great !

Neither wind, nor rain, nor...uh oh...here comes Ida !

The weather service forecasts a 100% chance of rain tomorrow accompanied by 30mph winds, thanks to the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida.

For the first time, the Farmers Market will not open tomorrow, November 11th because of the weather. We're sorry !

The market will be open as usual from 8am to 1pm next Wednesday, November 18th and every Wednesday through December 16th.

Thanks for underestanding, see you next week !
